IT companies at the International Tech Park Bangalore (ITPB) compete to solve the smaller replica of world’s largest Jigsaw Puzzle
Ascendas, Asia’s leading business space provider launched “The Grand ITPB Jigsaw Challenge”, a unique contest where IT companies based out of International Tech Park Bangalore will compete to solve a 3000 piece Jigsaw Puzzle.
The 3000 piece Jigsaw is a smaller replica of the world’s largest Jigsaw Puzzle that comprises 24,000 pieces and was solved by the Ascendas India CEO, Mr. Lim Sin Tiow. The completed 24,000 piece puzzle that measures 5ft height x 14ft width took close to a whole year to complete and is currently displayed at the lobby of the Discoverer building, ITPB.
The Grand ITPB Jigsaw Challenge will span two weeks (December 1 – 15) and each 4 member team get 7 days to complete the 3000 piece replica with the giant puzzle as a reference. The winning team will be the one that solves the puzzle in the best possible time and will stand to win the coveted ‘ITPB CEOs’ Trophy’ among other prizes.
The unique challenge celebrating patience, discipline and team work was inaugurated by Mr. Lim Sin Tiow, CEO Ascendas India. The total amount collected as participation fees will be matched by Ascendas and the entire proceeds will be handed over to the Divine Light Trust for the Blind (DLTB), a school at Whitefield that provides education to differently-abled children from economically challenged homes.
Mr Lim Sin Tiow, CEO Ascendas, who solved the 24,000 piece puzzle, said “We are delighted to launch the unique challenge. This is not just about solving a Jigsaw Puzzle, it also is a forum for the ITPB community to come together and contribute to a larger cause of helping children with special needs.
