Touching hearts through art in ITPB
Bangalore, November 13, 2006

Starting today, International Tech Park, Bangalore (ITPB) will play host to a Children’s Special fortnight. Above 20,000 employees of the Park will witness a cultural show and paintings exhibition by the children of Christel House. A not for profit organization, Christel House helps underprivileged children in developing countries break the cycle of poverty through education.

Christel House believes in wholesome education of its children and encourages children with talent and special abilities to express and develop them. The paintings have been created by such talented kids over a period of time and will be up for an exhibition cum sale at the ITPB mall till the 24th of November. All proceeds from the sale will go towards the welfare of the children of Christel House. To flag-off the children’s fortnight, the kids will present a cultural show during the lunch hour.

Mr. Jonathan Yap, CEO, Ascendas India, said, “We will be playing proud host to the children of Christel House who will showcase their talents in art and culture. This Children’s special event will seek to add a new dimension to the work and play environment we offer at International Tech Park.”
